At this year's Australia Day Awards, Harry Perks was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his outstanding services to horse racing and business.

In 2018, Harry Perks was inducted into the South Australian Racing Hall of Fame in the Associate ranks for contributing to racing as an owner and breeder.

In November 2024 Goldrush Guru a three-year-old colt owned and bred by Perks won the Victorian Derby and also in November Perks was announced as the South Australian Racehorse Owners Association (SAROA) Owner of the Month.
